Our mission is to let all students have access to real scientific research. Sometimes, however, students struggle with reading a long text. That’s why we’ve created self-paced, interactive lessons! Each lesson is about 30 minutes, can be accessed on any device, and guides students through a real scientific research paper that SJK has adapted.
We’ve taken three of our most popular adapted science articles and converted them to an interactive format with:
- figures to click, sliders for zoom, and crosswords to solve
- brief videos
- outlines with keypoints
- short checkpoint quizzes and a longer final assessment
- funny cartoons as rewards
All the research is still there, just in a new, even easier to digest format. An ideal nugget of scientific knowledge for students in middle and high school and a great base for a follow-up discussion in class.
