SJK is excited to announce a collaboration with Skype-a-Scientist for their free livestream session on December 4, 2025, at 1pm EST. This event will feature Andy Lee, the original researcher behind a recently-adapted research article about snail migration.
Skype-A-Scientist is an educational non-profit group whose mission is to make science accessible and fun through personal connections. They offer monthly free, public livestream sessions with scientists who share who they are, what they do, and why they like it. Sessions are not lectures, but free-form interactions with vetted scientific researchers.
Make the most of this event by doing two things:
1. Register for the Livestream
Get your FREE ticket online. You will need to enter your first and last name, email address, and phone number.
2. Teach the article
Have students read our adaptation of Andy’s research. This is a great article to teach ecology, evolution, biodiversity, and even genetics to middle and lower high school students. The article is available in English with an SJK Audio narration.
